Facility Coordinator at FMTIS in Visby

Implementation Unit Mitt (GE MITT) Based in Visby

The position is located in Visby, where you will work closely with units and operations in Gotland. The role involves independent work in a technically and security-complex environment, with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities for development. Travel in the position occurs regularly.

Main Responsibilities

As a facility coordinator, you are a central resource within FMTIS to ensure operations, security, and regulatory compliance at the Armed Forces' facilities. You will work independently and in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. The position primarily involves work within operational and facility security.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and experience deemed comparable by the employer.
  • Experience in conducting self-inspections and supervision.
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
  • Driver's license, minimum category B (manual transmission).

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and meticulous, with a good ability to plan and lead their own work. You are communicative, have a professional approach, and enjoy collaborating with various functions and stakeholders. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Good knowledge of and experience with the Swedish Armed Forces.
  • Experience working with properties and facilities within total defense.
  • Completed work environment training, operational security training, and/or SBA.
  • Completed military training, such as conscription or GSU.
  • Good ability to use Excel.

Other:

The employment is a full-time position, permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The position is civilian. The position is titled Facility Coordinator. Work location: Visby.
